Waving to other Civic's

As somebody who has ridden motorcycles in the past, the thing I liked about biking is the fact every biker gave you a nod or a wave as they past you.

In all the cars I have had I have never had the urge to wave to others driving a similar cars to myself, that is until now. Maybe it's because people on this site are so friendly but every time a Civic comes the other way I get this urge to wave to them.

So if you happen to pass a NHB Civic on a 08 plate and the driver waves at you it might just be me, or some other nutter.

Does anyone else get this urge.

Pete

I get the odd wave now and again and I normally give a nod back.

My sis has a mini. She went on a convoy of 200 minis the other week and they went for a bbq. How cool!

i gave other civic drivers a wave in the past, but after some drivers had mistaken my gesture and gave me looks that could kill me, i wisely decided to stop doing it

You're right. Here in England you're likely to get chased by someone and given an earful!

Funny race the English!

Do they drive in groups for fear of breaking down?

Have a mate who got dragged along by his gf on a beetle run a year or so ago, imagine his displeasure when her car broke down. The funniest thing was that hers is one of the 'new' beetles and 90% of the run were original beetles with no problems.

Have a Vespa and the riders on their 'big bikes' never acknowledge me. Quite funny in the dark as they start to acknowledge then quickly change their minds when they realise it is a Vespa coming towards them. Is it a macho thing or just a case of big bike, small ****!
