I love the car. It may have a few things that arent great, but so what. It's so different from most of the other cars on the road. Keep smiling

This one will be a panoramic view for me |

i personally think the turning circle isnt all that good! not that it matters for road driving, but car parking and multi story parking sometimes is a bit of a pain going back and forward to get it right

HI,
Civi EX, new this year, and am still trying to get to grips with the voice commands. Very often the reply to 'climate control defrost' is 'radio mw' or somthing just as strange, why is that?? Also I had my first attempt at calling via phone link while driving, what a performance, I had entered my phonebook into the system last weekend but hadnt tried it, after several attempts at trying to call my wife today I just gave up, I am so frustrated with so many shortcomings of all the up-to-date tech, I think this will be my first and only Honda.........- sorry! |

I think the Vito is rear wheel drive - most rear drive cars can have a better turning citcle as they can turn the wheels tighter owing to the fact they are not handling the drive too. Trying to put power through very tightly turned wheels would put extreme forces on the driveshafts.

My replacement car also has voice control .... and its much better - but I still never use it as its simply easier and quicker to use normal controls! Actually - I didn't miss them in either car. - Just annoying to pay for something you never use. |

Some minor items, I've just migrated from a Citroen C4:-
Auto lights - Don't come on with wipers, thought this was a great feature on the C4, if wipers were on full (not intermittent) for more than 60 secs lights came on automatically, as well as at dusk as they do on my Civic ES No sunglasses holder - Found this to be very convenient Rear Wiper - Like a lot of people I do miss this particulary with the limited visibility Don't get me wrong I've only had the Civic a couple of days and much prefer it overall to any of my previous cars. |

Voice Activated Controls ...
Mine work just fine ... as long as I leave a slight pause between 'toggling the pressle' and giving the command(s) ... and I have a Glaswegian (Partick) accent ! ...
I have noticed that when 'she' gets confused (which is very seldom), the default response seems to be "CD Off" ... BUT - the more I used the function - the fewer the errors ... 'she' seems to have some kind of learning function (unless I'm imagining it ?) ... |

You press the button with a picture of the window, it turns on the aircon and blasts the screen at full power. (A yellow light comes on) When you press the button again, it restores your previous settings.
