Oh ok, thanks mate, I thought that was just for demisting the windscreen, didn't realise it was 'defrost' as well

It helps to defrost, but its not a heated screen like you get on a Ford.

It will make things quicker though, as it automatically selects the fastest speed and mix of air for clearing the screen.

Agree entirely. Unlike many here, I don't carry a wiper around with me in my pocket, and run around the back every two minutes to wipe the rear window. Wouldn't like to own a Civic without reversing sensors!

Can they see all around the back of the car? You've got different one's than me, mine only see down the sides of the car. Where do I get these all seeing mirrors, they sound great? They'd negate the need for sensors all together.

Small rear doors make taking baby out of isofix seat a bit of a tight manoeuvre.

Also dislike the sound of the 1.8 at 4,000 rpm. Not refined at all for a Honda.

Feel a bit of a charlie when car fails to unlock.

Other quirks I'm used to!

I believe the boot protects the window in some way.

I am confused as to where the button is with the window on it to defrost your windows at the front?!!!

I thought you just select the demist option on the climate control and that does it?

The only other button I have got is the button which clears part of the rear window and also the heated side mirrors.

Can anyone post a picture of the button you are on about?!

Its getting a bit confused this! Its the button with the window symbol above the fan control. It turns on the aircon automatically and then blasts the screen at full power. (A yellow light comes on) When you press the button again, it restores your previous settings.

Yes its the symbol that car makers use for the front screen, its angled at the sides to differentiate it from the symbol for the rear screen.

Well look at that, you learn something new everyday! I can see the symbol now in my head, but just didn't appear like a window in my head!

When I leave work at 6pm I will make sure I have a good look!

Shame it doesn't work like in a Ford. That actually heats the screen and clears the frost in just a few seconds!
