steering wheel "live"

Has anybody felt a "live" type feeling through the steering wheel.
When I was holding the wheel this morning while trying to get the HFT to speak in English the wheel felt live as in electrical vibration. Is this normal and how do I get the HFT back to speak in JUST english please?

St Thomas,
If this is with the engine off, vibration from the Sat Nav drive motor can be felt through the steering wheel. Eject the DVD to verify this.
Regards, pcr.
