TopGear Mag Jan 07 - civinfo.com
I have just found this site thanks to Top Gear Magazine (page 183), and have already sorted the auto locking, which my dealer said couldn't be done !
Many thanks for that, will now take a look at what else can be fixed or improved, cheers, R. |

General info our our car - new in July 06, 2.2 sport, grey.
Trouble free to date (that's asking for it) - we had a puncture when we visited the Shoreham Airshow, the foam did the trick and got the family back to London, but £40+ for a new kit seems a bit steep. Honda Happiness - we paid £500 when we bought the car, told last month that it shouldn't have been offered, dealership mistake, so I took a refund - did I do the right thing ? Fuel cap sometimes gets stuck - I'll read up on that. Regards |

Hi and welcome to the site!
Yeah the Honda Happiness is only for our petrol engined bretheren, so I doubt you could force the dealer into allowing the deal to stand (a bit like complaining to a waiter about your meal and hoping they don't spit in your food The puncture outfit replacement is a bit steep. In fact 2 punctures would almost pay for a new spare wheel... certainly worth thinking about. |

Mentioned again in the new January 2007 issue, mentions finding out how to turn on the autolocks from our good selves!
On the negative side, she talks about receiving emails from readers on the HFT system and about becoming frustrated at the lack of ipod connectivity. Overall though she loves the car! |

I think we have all tryed but there not listening,
pitty car makers dont do test cars and take them to the public (ether by shows were you can test drive then or more testing from the dealer ) and ask for our ideas , is there anything we think is wrong , could be done better etc , then take our ideas and see if there good ideas and maybe use them . also maybe more long term tests are need before lanch maybe give a few cars to motor gerionists and that type after they think there ready if it break in there hands its better than in 1,000s of customers hands because they can say they listen to the faults and put them right. well thats my 10p worth !!!!! |

I too thought these clinics were a good idea, until I heard what the other people in our group were suggesting. I then realised why Ford had gone so horribly wrong (this was the late 80's). I have subsequently read that manufacturers now believe that car design is best left to car designers, and not the average mum pulled off the street! |
