Honda Forum - Slough Saturday 25th Nov

Did anyone get an invite to this forum???

I had a phone call from Honda an Friday afternoon inviting me to an owners forum in Slough on Saturday afternoon to discuss my Civic. Unfortunately I was going to a wedding so could not attend. I asked why the short notice and they said someone had dropped out at the last minute. Did anyone else go from this forum??????

This is the first I've heard of it so obviously no invite.

The dealership that I bought my car from had a "Women Only Evening" with wine and nibbles, freebies, makeovers* etc. Was I invited? No! probably because they had already had my money two months earlier and had made me pay for car mats! Not that I'm bitter of course!

*Not that I need a make-over of course!!!!!

Sorry, Smiffy! My fault. I'm a woman, blonde and not very specific!

I meant I've mentioned paying for my car mats on numerous occasions.... it really hacked me off that I had to pay for them.

Didn't know anything about the Slough forum! By all accounts, Customer Services sometimes sound like something from The Office!

Ref invite by honda.
Two years ago i got an invite by honda to attend a seminar at a local post house to talk about honda vehicles and was paid £50 cash in hand for attending, plus refreshments for two hours of my time. Very Nice.

I did get a letter from some market research company sometime back asking me to attend and saying that they would pay me..can't remember the name of the company (bollingbroke or something like that) but didn't hear from them again.

Quite possibly

But unfortunately Honda appear to have not seen fit to invite any of us to find out

I got invited to the one in Slough. They only gave me 24 hours notice but they did offer £50. I've just moved house so couldn't make it.

A former colleague who's bought a couple of new Honda's in the last few years was invited on a review the i-Shift and provide feedback day. He got free tickets for the motorshow I think.
