Diesel Type S or R ??

Is there such a thing or any plans for them ??

The new 3 door Type S comes in diesel form. I've ordered one and pick it up around the 7th of January.

I think it's safe to say there will never be a diesel Type R in the immediate future.

I agree, the type R is is coming out in 2 guises, fast and very fast, but no diesel. Remapping the Type S to 185ps is probably the closest to a diesel type R.

Diesel Type S and Type R???
Two differnet animals.
Whilst sharing the same body the Type R has a petrol engine very similar to the old CTR and the Diesel has the 2.2 lump from the five door.
Performance wise it's a bit of wait and see really. However the old CTR was a thirsty beast and I expect the Diesel to be the same as the current five door.
