Seat covers

Im getting my type r gt a week on friday and as i am a plumber and gas engineer i tend to get a bit grubby at work and are therefore looking for seat covers. Was just wondering if anyone on here has some and where they got them

Not really an answer but you can get workshop seat covers for 205's from the peugeot sport club...all for the nice price of 15 quid each.

Now, i think that honda should be able to do the same thing...or if they do already be ale to make them for sale to the public?

Otherwise its some aftermarket thing, which wont look great but will save your interior.

Oh and as its honda, it will probably be white..........which for you ross, might not be appropiate.

Great news on the Type R .

As regards seat covers, be very careful that they don't interfere with the side airbags. I assume you have to have specially made ones?

Ask the honda garage to chuck in a box of their workshop plassy covers.

1 a week should do.

If you get dirty wory bout ya steerin wheel too.

Nothing worse that buying a second hand moter with a grubby wheel.

i dont need to worry about the steering wheel as i am very clean and wash my hands thoroughly after every job even though the older guys at work take the mickey out of me for it.

Technically no matter what covers i get its going to interfere with the side airbags unless i bought aftermarket ones and maybe put a slit down the side so that the air bag would just tear through it?

Tell me about it. I dont want the thin plastic ones they use at the garage because they would rip too easy. Really need to try and find some before i get the car. Will let you know if i find any

I thought there would be lots of people making these but there obviously isnt that much of a market for them
