I still give it a little sniff as I get in the car too Emma, but alas to say that after 8 months of ownership, I can't really smell it anymore.....

However, I picked a mate of mine up from the airport last week and the first thing he said when he got in was that the car still smell's of 'Eau de New Car'.....I must've just got used to it then!!!

I've had mine for 7 months and sometimes it smells stronger than others but I am worried that it's going now. I used to buy loads of air fresheners for my other cars but I am still resisting for this one.

birthcertificate says 62, trying hard to mature to 30 - but - like it or not - I must push the average age up a notch or two

47 going on 12 (according to my wife). The Civic is probably the best car I've owned and I'm sure its appeal tramples over any age related boundries.

I reached 31 in October. It's quite remarkable really, as at school I was often told I wouldn't live to see my next birthday.

For me the most surprising thing about reaching your thirties is that you still get birthday money from your relatives.

Happy birthday boltonbrownie,

I agree with Andrea, I am 26 years old and love the car.... Insurance at £1250 a year fully comp you gotta be earning for that kind of screwing ... bit of a point with me at the mo actually.

I do think it is a cost thing...

Cheers
