Ever since ive had my civic and joined the forum ive been on the site EVERY NIGHT.
This hasnt gone unnoticed with the wife commenting and more recently one of the lads telling me last night what a nerd id become. My reply was id rather spend a couple of hours chatting on the forum than deprieve my senses watching the tvathon which is emmerdale, corrie and eastenders everynight. It did make me think "have i become obsessed with the forum" I love the car, forum and the new friends ive found, but has this effected anyone the same way.....id be interested to know? It hasnt changed me completely, i hardly look in over the weekend, a bricky and the pub is a bond even civinfo cant break....not yet anyway Thanks for reading.....browny |

Hey BB,
Just to quote a welcome to MrEd in another thread: "I hope you enjoy this forum as much - and get as much benefit - as I do. I too am a first time Civic owner and after 3 months of enjoyable, fun driving, the car is getting close to being the best little, automotive number on the side I've ever had - perfect company and best away from the Mrs." The thought train applies to the Civic and Civinfo |

Still at least I work well under pressure. And yes my mates now think I'm a geek but I don't care - I'm getting a better car than any of them put together and I can talk to people every day about it who don't roll their eyes and sigh..."there she goes again..."!! I suspect that i won't be on here much over the weekend, probably for the same reasons as you - except I'm not a bricky. But the pub and I have an extra special relationship too!! |

Well we've all done that. Haven't we?
At least to check if there are any replies to your own posts. |

My life seems to be 'Civinfo' 'Civic driving' 'Civic cleaning/polishing', so I'm not quite stuck in front of the small screen every day; at least I get some exercise!
Ps: anything else happening in the World at the moment |

Not making any fun of it, but sometimes I think your nick could be "Topprob".. On my part, I am an everyday visitor, even at work (like now).... And I don't regret my addiction. |
