Steering tighter?

I have an issue with a pull to the left (on other posts)

My question is this;
Is there a way to tighten up the steering, i.e. make it feel less sloppy/twitchy?

The reason I ask is since the second visit to Honda UK, the steering seems stiffer,tighter and more stable in side winds than before.. the pull to the left is almost gone and braking only results in a small anticlockwise turn of the wheel maybe to 11 o'clock.

Had you requested the steering be looked at or was this as the result of a service?

definately!!!

I'm now a part of the nicer steering civic.. although it IS still a bit too camber sensitive but easily live-able with... On the right side of road it drifts right, left it drifts left so the "PULL" is gone.

Gear knob is tight too!!

Will this camber sensitivity affect tyre lifespan i wonder..

In VW/Audi cars, the electric steering parameters are changeable by using the VAGCOM program. Sadly there is no such program for the Civ, but I'd bet that the same type of parameters are settable by the proper Honda diagnostic box.

on closer inspection... I have nice shiny new tyres down the drivers side and what looks to be the old back ones down the left. All Bridgestone...

and there is a gap on the left hand door seal that isn't there on right, so that would exlain the whistle away.
