Sorry mate, just up and down.

Shall we add that to the list?

Is the lack of front to rear movement to do with the active head restraint?

possibly - although maybe indirectly

I guess if the headrest could be tilted back and fore, in the event of a crash, it would tilt back when your head hit it, thereby possibly lessening the effectivness of it being there?

Surely that adjustment could be made and the head rest looked into its 'new' position - if it was designed that way of course.

I'm sure I've had that convieneince in previous motors.

possibly Charles

I've certainly had pervious car where the headrest could be tilted - but looking back, they didn't then lock into position.

I guess that the 'lock' would have to be pretty substaintial to hold it in place against the force of your head hitting it in the event of a collision - and having an extra lump of metal inside the headrest might not be a good thing?

I'm into the realms of speculation now though!

As far as I can remember on my old motor. You would pull the headrest forward and then it would be able to go back to its full extent. You could then move it forward in 'locked' stages 'till you got your desired potition.
