Just wondering if anyone else experiences dirty back doors as shown in the picture. Happens to me on both sides. They must have a slight bend in them which catches the muck coming up.
Lol, this thread has definitely brought a smile to my ugly mug.
Yes for some reason mine does the same. I imagine if u put it into an air tunnel there must be some aerodynamic discrepancies around the back doors, must be all the dirty wind
There'll be turbulent eddies over the panel gap from the airflow down the side of the car. It'll create a pressure differential and stop the dirty water from draining away.
Sorry to gate crash but I get A LOT of condensation on my back window and also freezes on the inside. So when I put my heated rear on its just dropping wet. I think moisture might be getting in in between the plastic lower boot seal and the actual glass boot lid. Any suggestions?
I have a type s that had the same problem, which when i looked in the spare wheel compartment it was soaking wet! I took it to a local windscreen company who found that the plastic rear boot spolier was leaking between the glass and the spoiler, 78 quid and half a day later job done no biggy, i did strip all the plastic trim from the boot to save them labour and me money?
