I have the SARS BONES (I am not 100% sure of the spelling) which I uised for my old car.

The trouble is they put a lot of weight on the rear bumper, which happens to be quite soft plastic. This makes the carrier unuseable.

I would be tempted to go for a roof carrier style. I bleieve Honda actually do one...

I'm interest in one also but not sure if you can fit one to the rear hatch or not. I know Honda do one for the roof and one for the inside of the car.

Somewhere in the instruction manual its's stated that you can't use a bike carrier that attaches to the rear hatch. It's all plastic and too soft for that. I guess the same goes for the bumper.

You're correct there Brian, a cycle carrier should not go on the back of the car. Roof carrier is the thing to have....or lift up the rear seats and use the space.

I was really almost tempted enough to go for the removable trailer hook option, and then get one of those V shaped ones to attach to that.

Didn't do it in the end, so not sure how feasible it might be?
