Mirror sod unit help

Hi

I'm after a bit advice if possible. I've received a new Honda oe sod unit from eBay. Now the problem I've got is the the multi plugs are different. The plug blue/pink wires is a lot smaller. The plug yellow/white wires are placed different positions to the original. The poly fuse is noticeable on the old knackered one. The new one the is just glue no sign of fuse.

I've emailed the seller for more info and still waiting. Just wanted to see if anyone has crossed this bridge?. just something doesn't seem right, surly you don't chop n solder the matching wires???.

Why not just replace the fuses for £3 for both and send them back?

An hours job.

Hi

I've tried that path it didn't solve the issue. Replaced the poly fuse it didn't work. I've swapped n/s to o/s and the mirror works. been hunting all over online and the part is correct according to my details. I'm gonna ring honda when am in work ***** see if they have any feedback. just seems strange. the wires are the same both sides also.

Pics too small for my eyes.

If you look on the right in PB there is a box divided up.Paste the bottom link here after you have full view of the pic you want to display.

Hi

Are the photos uploaded working? bear with me am new to this url thing.

I've unplugged the old one. the plugs originally on car both sides are the same. The new sod one plug fits (however white/yellow wires are wrong way).

other plug is different shape and size

hope this helps
