Free Ipod

I have just received a phone from the leasing company, he said that my car would be delivered on wednesday and it would be supplied with a free ipod

. He said that this was a limited honda incentive.

Has anyone else had a free ipod and if so what type was it.

Nice one! I'm planning on using my own iPod when I pick up mine tomorrow. To be honest, I'll be happy if they throw the mats in, let alone an iPod

Just got an update - It is a 1gb Nano - Our dealer Fish Brothers in Swindon is awaiting delivery of the ipods from Honda.

I had a test drive of a 2.2 EX on 17th Feb. The salesman told me that they were doing a deal of free sat-nav (not relevant on the EX) or a free iPod or a significant discount.

As it will be a company car I didn't discuss the price.

It was not clear whether it was a dealership or a Honda offer, but he did say that it was valid for orders taken by the end of March and that he had a quota of 70 Civics to sell by then.

When I spoke to the leasing company he said that the ipods are being supplied by Honda Uk and the dealer had requested his units and would be delivered this weekend

Perhaps somebody could ring there dealer to clarify this.

We're picking our 2.2 ES up on Tuesday (hopefully). No mention of any freebies when we ordered a few weeks ago.

Both myself and my colleague ordered 2.2 es models.

Our rep at the leasing company was not aware of the offer untill a colleague of his mentioned it to him, he then rang the dealer who clarified the offer and said that he had ordered the ipods from Honda UK and would be shipped with the vehicles on Wednesday

You obviously deserve a big bunch of flowers in allowing Mr T.T. to get the Civic in the first place!

I'm switching from Tesco's to BP Ultimate 97RON. According to the blurb on the BP website I should be able to achieve a better MPG.

I know when I used to frequent the Lexus website they used to swear by Shell Optimax and the noticeable performance & MPG benefits over supermarket fuel.
