Parking sensors as standard fit?

Does anybody know if there is a whisper of Honda including rear-parking sensors as a standard build item on the Civic?
If any car needs 'em it's the Civic (according to my wife!) . . . many other manufacturers at this end of the price range seem to include 'em as standard spec now
- even Skoda (yes I know it's an Audi/VW morph).

Does Honda see our comments - and do they care anyway??

personally i dont think its a essential. I have had my civic a month now and had no probs. It would be nice to have them but i certainly dont think its worth spending out on.

I doubt if they will become standard.

It would up the brochure price and that is a crucial point when comparing in the market place.
