new type r question

We are trading in our type s gt for the type r in march 2011 and i was wondering if honda have fixed the paint problem ie thin as you know what!!
Ive noticed on some private sellers ads they put in "solid paint" ?
Also ive seen a couple of the blue type r's i like the look of do they include this as an option and whats the story with the championship white is this an option too?
cheers

In this context, I always understood 'solid paint' to mean there were no stone chips / scratches / rust etc. I.e. the paintwork was immaculate.

As for different colours being better, there are some graphs here. No idea how accurate they are though! Weak paint - Civinfo Wiki
