Boot dimensions

Bit of a strange request, but does anyone have the internal dimensions of the 5 door ES Civic's boot.
I'm particularly interested in whether I can get a new 46" LCD t.v. in on it's back, in it's box!

Unfortunately I don't have a tape measure with me.
Any one know or able to check? Cheers

If you fold the rear seats down and take the parcel shelf out you should have no problem.

I certainly don't think my LG 42" box would've fitted....

Just checked the size of the T.v. Box.

123 x 90 x 38cm
or 48.5" x 35.5" x 15"

Will lay the seats down..... not sure it's gonna fit though!

would you not be able to use your magic seats and slip the box in the back

Hmmm... I get what you're saying, I guess it just depends if the door opening is > 90cm and the internal width of the car is > 123cm.

I'll have to check tonight. A real test for the Civic - I knew there was a reason for the magic seats other than for a bike!

Width of the car is 1,7655mm according to the manual. Can't spot anything though about boot dimensions in the manual.
