civinfo.com to close :(

Hi,

I can't believe I am having to write this, but I'm afraid to say that Civinfo.com will be shutting its virtual doors some time in the next week.

Pottsy and Jayne have made the brave (or foolish?) decision to relocate to Prollofia in Dubai on a permanent basis, and now no longer have the time, resources or ability to maintain the site.

It's been quite a remarkable ride. Almost a year has passed now, and we were going from strength to strength.

Fortunately, all is not lost - there are many other car forums online, we're sure you can find one to your tastes.

It seems a shame, I know, but all good things and all that.

Thanks for some fun times, and above all - enjoy your civics!

Yes, having visited Dubai for the last 3 years - I can see why Pottsy and Jayne would want to relocate. Prollofia is such a lovely place - especially at this particular time of the year. I wish them both much luck and happiness in their new adventure and, of course, lots of laughs along the way.

Why dont you just appeal to the vast amount of people on here for volunteers to take over from Pottsy and Jayne???

Im sure someone would be willing to do it, its a shame to loose this great resource.

I'm very sad to hear this news.

This site has been invaluable and has euipped me and countless others with more knowledge on the civic thatn the dealers themselves.

I do hope it can continue in some form or an another though - it will be sadly missed - especially during the quiet periods at work!

Thats the point you have to catch people while they are half asleep

My first post to this was pointing out what day it was then quickly changed it as I thought it ruined the joke too quickly.
