BTW, would it be a good idea to set this poll as the "Current poll" in the welcome page? This way all new users would quickly enter their color choices.

Funny here in france we dont have the same colors... No Vivid Blue No Royal Blue and instead we have a Ocean Blue (nice one). Black is far above all others colors in France too (French Advertising are with a NHB civic).
What's funny is that I've never seen other Champagne Civic before having one, and now the two last where the same color !

It has be red for me. Yes black is the most popular colour (or appears to be) but it just suits red and the colour makes it look even more radical.

Last week I saw a new Civic that was sprayed like the Union Jack - very eye catching (and quite cool!). I was left wondering how much that cost!

Though I thought the Black looked V cool in the showroom I guessed from previous experience that it would be impossible to keep clean on this building site we call Ireland, so I went for silver. Around the town I have now seen 1 other silver, 2 Grey, 1 Red, 2 Black & the Mrs told me today she saw one that was a blueish gold! (she said it looked well but would never resell, it's not one I've seen in the book). I think I was right to go for Silver! Also it doesnt show stone chips & scratches like the dark colours though luckly I dont have many.

I will get a silver also and these things you have listed were also important reason for me when I've choosen the color.

But I like also blueish, vivd, cosmic, red, black... champagne and galaxy is well not my style but I always turn my head to follow the cars with my eyes in these color also.... so I like all of them frankly!

Not bad for what is reported to be the one of the most unpopular colours

Here here.

No way is Galaxy an unpopular colour - so many out there and its one of the few colours where the plastic trim looks good

I think the poll is reasonably representative of whats out there - (apart from black - cant say I've seen many). Haven't seen any Blue ones - even the metallic (wonder why ).

oh - and my Galaxy Grey is usually the new dirty black

I test drove a blue one, Sarahjo, and I must admit I thought it was gorgeous.

I had already ordered a red one tho cos I thought the red and black lended itself well to the style and shape of the car...

Plus I love Ferrari's and it is that one step closer!!

Having just contacted a second dealer for a changeover price I have found that not only have they quoted me £1K less than dealer No1 but they have 2 EX i-shifts on back order expected Mar/Apr.

Now, do I go for Red or Galaxy ???????????

My daily journey takes in mostly motorways so the touchup kit is a must. Is the red more easily 'touched up' than Galaxy ?

Or, do I go metallic ?

Decisions, decisions.

Metallic, Kremmen?

Galaxy grey is metallic paint.

To quote an old post by BlackPearl:

R-81 Milano Red
NH-700M Alabaster Silver Metallic
B-92P Nighthawk Black Pearl
B-536P Royal Blue Pearl
B-520P Vivid Blue Pearl
NH-674P Cosmic Grey Pearl
B-538M Blueish Silver Metallic
NH-701M Galaxy Grey Metallic
YR-559M Champagne Silver Metallic

So there are four metallic options and four pearlescent ones.
Red is the only one that is neither.
