Colour Poll

I thought it would be interesting to see what the most popular colour is for the Civic. Can everyone vote for the colour they bought, will buy or would buy if they could.

After I decided to buy the new Civic I spent a long time choosing a colour. It had to be my favourite colour out of the 9 available options, one that suits the car (i.e. making it look good), and also a colour that is popular enough so selling the car in the future would not be a problem. In the end, I selected Nighthawk black and have no regrets - the colour is perfect for the car. Lately, I came across 2 other new Civics in my area with the same colour. Just goes to show that 'great minds think alike'.

I get the feeling black will win as it's the only other colour Civic I see on the roads - common as muck

The vast majority of civics I have seen on the road have either been Alabaster Silver or Galaxy Grey, never seen a Royal Blue or a Milano Red on the road, think I've seen most of the others now.

As for me, well it had to be Nighthawk Black

I have to agree that most of the Civics I see on the road are Black, but in my opinion it's not the best colour for a car. They show so much dirt and get very hot!

I am surprised at how few Alabaster Silver cars have I seen, I have only seen one other than my own. Strange as Silver tends to be a popular colour in general for cars.

The red goes with the black quite well. Anyone thought of taking the black off and getting it sprayed?

Nighthawk black is the one, think it sets the car off really well, but it is a pig to keep clean. As big chris said never seen red or blue on the road, the dealer only ever has black , grey and silver in stock when i go there.

There were 3 red ones on the M40 this evening, between Jct 9 & 4 between 3:30 and 4:30.

One thing is that there are a lot flying around with hire car badges on them, no wonder they never wave back.

I love my NightHawk Black Civ - even if it is a bitch to keep clean. It is one of the most satisfying colours (?) for a car, after cleaning you can appreciate it more than any other colour that I have ever owned. My last car was a Silver grey and after spending time cleaning and polishing I would stand back and think 'Was it worth it' and more often than not the answer was no.

I had the civ 'Sureguarded' before delivery and it was definately worth it (I did not pay the full price for it). Even when it is dirty from a distance it apears to gleam.

By the way things are going, it's not a choice of colour, but a choice of tone!
