According to HondaTech some time ago they should have been removed at PDI. I wonder why they were put on in the first place? What do/did they protect?

To stop the wax injected into the panels from running out of the drain holes before it sets.
Can't have them on the assembly line slipping over, can we.
HSE is far more important than us poor b--gers shelling out 20k.

Hi All,

Got my 2.2EX + Leather a few weeks back, these were still attatched to mine too. Does make you wonder what else Honda are missing on the PDI, I assume they have a check sheet that they sign to say they've done all this?
