name for new space ship?

Hi,

All being well, the ship will be coming into land in two weeks time.

But apart from Mrs Alien wondering what sex it will be, we are thinking of a name for the craft.

we have some idea's and would appreciate some help.

car due to be NHB

so we have

Pearl

Hawk

Falcon

Jack

Comet

Jet

Seven

Any help on this very important matter would be great.

I like Seven (cos my DOB is 7/7/77) and I like comet too. Pearl doesnt suit it SORRY!

Personally I think you should call it something random like John! I never name my cars but I have been known to refer to the car as Mr Civic from time to time

I believe the convention on here is to make something up from the last 3 letters of the registration e.g. SZN = Suzanna or UTN = Ultimately Talented Nicola.

Good game to play while bombing down the Motorway with Kids (or on your own) , picking the last 3 letters of other cars then naming them. (Be careful you don't crash though )

As for the car - well if it's black and you think of it as a ship how about 'The Black Ship' as in 'it's so black light - just falls into it ...'

Mine's called Hal (Wish I'd got the EX now so I could talk to it) This does fit with my number plate too.

I only named it because my sister insists that things have names.

I don't name mine as such, but some vehicles did get names by default. My L200 Warrior was always known as "The Truck", My Merc V Class was always known as "The Bus". Otherwise no names. Some vehicles are machines and others name themselves!

thanks for the comments, we probably will wait and see what its like, however Skippy has given us a couple of idea's
as ours will talk back to us one choice is Holly and another is Queeg and one more is Star Bug then of course could call it Awooga or Cat.

If anyone can come up with anything interesting based on the letters on my registration (38-XG-XK), I"ll be happy to hear suggestions!

I'm sure there's a star system called after that registration. Turn left at Beetlegeuse.
