I wouldn't think that carrying around 2 pounds of cleaning materials in a one and a half ton car would make all that much difference to them there figures!

You'worse than me in carrying half the garage in the car!
Two pounds is about 0.07 % of the car weight, and gives corresponding slower acceleration.
I myself always eat AFTER driving
