...And so it begins (as they used to say on Babylon 5)

Went to get the spaceship out of the garage to go to the Dentist this morning - ahh, how we Buckingham people live... and all the air in the front tyre had gone to the top.

Turned out to be a screw embedded in tread (not the wall thank goodness). The spaceship is only three weeks old and has only done about 500 miles so you can imagine I was not a happy bunny this morning.

Nevertheless, all fixed by our local (excellent) tyre man in double-quick time. So ready once again for warpdrive.

Anthony.

Sorry to hear about your wee misfortune. Just glad it happened at the house and not somewhere out and about.

This is one of my biggest worries. Ive not had mine long either and I'll be damned if I'm gonna use whatever that foam keek is that's in the boot.

Thanks for the kind words. After debating a bit pre-purchase, I opted to splash out on a spacesaver wheel. Whilst I didn't need it this time, I felt comforted, whilst I hunted for the damage this morning, that I did have the 'get-you-home' wheel as a backup (even if I was already home!).

I whilst on the subject of stuff in the boot, I have found the compressor a quite nicely made piece of kit - especially the screw-on fixing rather than the 'push-and-lever' fitting on my existing compressor.
