One Mod Only..

Alright all,

Basically it was just an idea that came to me- bit of fun but also a very useful thread for potential noob modders like myself.

My idea is you can only post one mod that you would do to your car, be it interior or exterior.. Performance or visual big or small, anything that you'd class as a mod. And also in your post (to help people like me) put an average cost, how easy it is to fit or do and where to look to purchase such an item, and of course why you would do this mod

For example- Team Heko wind deflectors- around £35, real easy to fit only a few minutes each side, eBay or amazon and I'd do this mod because it follows the lines of the car well and makes it look that bit better (IMO)

Apologies if this has already been done, just thought it would be a great thread to data base each kind of mod rather than search for info all over the site

Much love all

Eco display
Stage 1 remap. About £200 (for Celtic I think that's about right?).
Obviously not a "fit" but then might require the clutch replacing. Does that count as part of the mod?

Why? Surely obvious

Skunk2 gearknob.

Mega easy to fit.

Will cost around £50

Funkypower.com

Makes the shift awesome and fits in my hand so much better than the OEM one.

Type R engine with running gear.

Extremely hard to fit
Too expensive to even think about
Complete car from breakers (body damaged)

Why because I only like 4 door cars but need more power.

1.8 not worth the money needed to get a couple of extra hp

Nice one... So surprised this hasn't already been said haha I thought it would be the first one up there!

Believe this to be between £2-300? Involves a laser tracking and camber bolts?

The Type R side stickers on front grille badge as that must add an extra 6bhp lmao and it's cheap and easy to do and looks instantly better. Thats one mod by the way cause I've ordered them today and it comes as a set. lol

Not quite in the rules but my single best mod was taking my CBP FN2 and part ex for a M200.

Cost= don't want to even think about it as if I did, I probably wouldn't have done it.

Eibach Springs with FRS

Transforms a car thats crashy and has a decent amount of understeer in corners to one that can pretty much cope with any corner you throw it into. No understeer and gives you much more confidence into each corner you take. The ride is more comfortable despite the lowering and the car just feels much better all round to drive. The best mode to date that I've done to my car. So much fun and worth every penny.

Costs £400-£500 fitted.
