Magnetic wiper assembly?

I was thinking of methods to built a wiper, without it's really dangerous sometimes (for me).
This is the easyest assembly I came up with. Are there any technical people or engineers that know it this is something feasible? I would of course use neodymium magnets.

Neodymium is the only natural choice if you ask me!

Would need to be a very strong magnet to stop some oik stealing the blade

As one of those people described, I would say not feasable.
