It needs a polish which will get rid of the Superguard. I am not a fan of Superguard or similar products. You can maintain your car with better products.

Ideally a machine polish as it is hard work to do by hand.

what products do u recommend ? The superguard stops the paint from fading and being red they are prone to it .

Yep machine polish mate is the best way to remove swirls and light scratches. By hand is possible but will take forever and a day but you won't get the results as you would by machine. Just as important, to achieve the best possible results is too make sure all the prep work is done to decontaminate your paint even before you start polishing.

Lots of products available. I like the Scholl polishes (S17+ & S40)

The Superguard IMO is a total waste of money & most of the time it is never applied correctly, or sometime not at all.

It all depends on how bad the swirls are & whether you want to get rid of them yourself or take it to a pro to detail it.

Wax will stop the paint fading too as it is a UV filter.

To hide swirls - Blackhole/AGSRP

To remove swirls - Farécla G3 Paint Renovator.

you are better getting someone who details cars to remove the swirls, i have them and i bought a machine polisher to try and do it! its ALOT harder than it looks. So better to pay a £200 to get it done right than a respray if you lean to heavy on the paint.

I also have the same problem with my Milano but all the above sounds a bit too technical for me.... "to achieve the best possible results is too make sure all the prep work is done to decontaminate your paint even before you start polishing."

As in detarring to remove tar spots on the paint, claying to remove surface contamination off the paint and getting it feeling smooth again, and ironx or the like to remove imbedded iron and fallout contamination.
