Haha, Barry must think we were born yesterday. He is obviously making a poor attempt at making people think its not him who's to blame. Let me tell tell you it is ALL down to Barry Smith. He has stolen the money, He is to blame! Please don't fall for his childlike tactics of trying to fool you. My 4 year old could have made a better attempt.

I hope he is reading this thread.

Barrry, you aren't getting away with it. You're a grade A pr*ck. Id advise paying people you owe or expect a lot of angry people paying you a personal visit very soon!

If you all feel that you have been deceived why don't you pop down to your local police station and make a complaint of fraud and get him locked up.

well well well-

so i am the one that wrote all the BEWARE touge threads a while back and have well over 10,000.00 USD tied up with them.

I found out who the middle man is in japan and have had a few talks with them through email. he gave them half my money- they have ALL my parts on hand- but they cannot get in touch with him for almost a year.

my original thread-
Dont know why youve done this to me- im sure youll find this many places on the internet now. I hope you feel horrible for stealing all my money

BEWARE TOUGE DISTRIBUTION-
please, do NOT buy from these people.

I had a long-standing order with them running about 9 months starting in 2010. I totaled an order of about $10,000.00 usd in parts. Everything from Backyard Special/FEEL's/J'sRacing etc...

I had wonderful communication with them all the way through. They were very helpful and got me part numbers, sent me pictures of my parts and all seemed well.

On 9/27/2011 i received an email from them saying my order was ready for dispatch. i paid the shipping required and then the trouble started. They informed me what ship my order would be coming on (Ocean freight to Hawaii) and i tracked the boat on Google maps on its entire voyage. Well at the end of November when the ship turned back to the far east without stopping in Hawaii i started asking questions. I called the alleged shipping company and started asking questions from Touge Distribution.

They finally tell me that they cant ship ocean freight with their company to Hawaii. Then asked me if i could find a shipper myself to help them out. I was able to secure a company that was willing to go and pick up my parts in Chiba, japan where they claim to be located. Ive asked them several questions since then and they have ignored me ever since. I have asked them why they would just steal all my money like that and they straight ignore me.

I have no recourse as i can see it, except to let EVERYONE else know about it. Please save yourself the trouble. This was not my very first order with them (i placed several prior to this with no issues)

Its now May of 2012 and i have nothing to show for all my money.
DO NOT BUY FROM TOUGE DISTRIBUTION

Hi Roy,

You WILL GET YOUR PARTS. We are very sorry for your experience.
The company has been let down by various 3rd parties which has affected our overall financial position and cashflow.

Again, very very sorry.

There is no question that this is all down to Barry Smith. He's bullsh*tting everyone involved, writing emails as though they are from other people and doing anything he can to try and get out of it. That email on the previous page saying Barry has nothing to do with it is from HIM, I can guarantee it.

I have spoken to people who have been involved with Barry, and they have confirmed this. He has used peoples money for orders and lied about delivery, and problems with orders. Basically done whatever he can do fob people off for as long as possible.

Now, I'm not saying this was his original intent for the company, but he has got himself too deep in sh*t (all down to his own doing) and has ended up just ignoring the whole situation and trying to wriggle his way out of it scott free.

He cannot get away with it, he's a crook and a liar and he's stolen £1000's from innocent people. He's no better than a burglar or mugger and needs to be dealt with.

The exact same thing has happened to me, I've been conned out of £420 from Touge Distribution when i ordered a pair of Js Racing Front Wide Fenders for the EP3. I've emailed them multiples times, had absolutely no reply from them since they've taken my money. It's been almost a year now since I ordered, this is ridiculous how they are still trading and treating customers like this.

What name did he trade under and from where?

There's still a Touge Distribution website priced in Yen though. If that's him and he's still trading even after knowing he can't supply goods, then he's committing offences.

There's a dissolved company called Touge Autos in London:

TOUGE FACTORY AUTOS LIMITED
788-790 FINCHLEY ROAD
LONDON
ENGLAND
NW11 7TJ
Company No. 07015792

If its NOT that dissolved company then your 1st approach would be Trading Standards for his area as its illegal to take money without supplying goods.

Also, I think it was mentioned earlier in this thread from memory, that he has a lot of luxury personal assets (I can't be bothered to read back through). If that's the case, and his trading company whatever it was named wasn't Limited, you'd need to check:

Find information on a company

Web Check is free for basic info, then he's personally liable for the debts. A debt recovery action might be the way forwards as there are lots of enforcement roads you can take.

His only defence is if he was limited or has no assets.

He means find the parts you want on Togue and order from Matt at Injection imports. Genuine parts, great prices, great service and JDM snacks.
