Fuel Cap Tether

Has anyone else managed to find a part number for the rubber fuel cap tether? Mine is badly perished and would like to replace it; however I cannot find a part number for it and I am wondering if it's a case of buying a whole filler cap assembly, in which case I'll simply not bother about it.......

They are such bad people aren't they? hahaha

That's effectively 22 quid for an elastic band.

Almost like this imaginary scenario

'Good morning, Mr Honda Partsperson, can I have a pair of wiper blades for a 2007 Civic please?'

'Ah. Sorry Sir. Not available as a separate part, you must buy the whole wiper-motor-and-screen assembly at £3,500.'

Daft I know, but I have had a small beverage this afternoon.

I know it is incredible. You might find something cheaper on ebay or elsewhere.

I snapped mine the first time I filled the car up

Every fill up I edge closer to buying a 22 elastic band!!
