Exterior Door Handles

After 5 years of suffering 2 8G Civic models clunky exterior front door mechanisms I fell upon the answer at the weekend.

If you push in slightly on the door handle (doesn't take much pressure) then pull/squeeze the black lever whilst applying the pressure, it unlatches considerably more easily, and without the 'click/clunk'.

'Her Indoors' has always struggled with her side as that one has been especially 'clunky' and with her arthritis I always had to open it for her.

Having accidentally found this tip on my side I got her to try her side and she can now open her side with ease

Proper Job !

Yes, I've found that if you 'palm' the door handle, then squeeze with your fingers, the door always opens with ease. If you just us your fingers and pull like you usually do with more conventional then you may have issues...

Never had issues with the driver side door, however the passenger door is always more 'clunky' as you've said.
