More Exclusive than a Porsche

I've noticed recently driving around Warwickshire, that I see more Porsche than Civics. Just wondered if anyone else has noticed these common German vehicles more than our exclusive car on the roads?
And it's not as though I live on Park Lane!

Thinking about it - your right, down where I am in Southampton, I see more Porsches than Civics for sure - mostly boxsters and the 4x4 thing; infact there are three boxters in my neighbourhood and no Civic's (that is until mine arrives!)

Very true - I see loads of Boxters now I think its because they are so affordable especially on the second hand market.

Maybe there are more hairdressers in the UK now

Two Civics in Tesco car park in Royston on Saturday afternoon. How common can you get?

Funny you should say that, for two weeks in a row another 06 Civic has been parked next to mine when we returned to the car, which happened to be 100s metres from everyone else.

Funny, I've been trying to park next to the identical looking Civic (5 doors, black) that's on my client's car park for weeks now
Maybe I should get my lazy ass out of bed earlier, because I didn't succeed yet

The irony would be if they ended up denting your car...

Actually now that you mention it there are more high powered sports cars, BMW's and porsche 4x 4's in my city here in Poland than Civics. What does that tell you about Poland?

Actually not seen many Porsches, but quite a few Civic's; or am I just looking out for them??
Just been north of the border again and there are quite a few about now, noticably more the more south you go though

Today I drove through a major city here in Poland and I saw 2 Audi Q7's, 4 Audi A6's and a Porsche Cayenne ( 4 x 4 ) but not one Civic.

The quality of the roads probably? Many of us thinks that German cars are still most durable cars in the world... which is not true. Bestsellers in Germany are cars designed by Japanese. That's what I've heard.

Come to swindon then - more common than a Ford Focus here. Almost enough to put you off buying one - almost I said before you rant - at least all the plant's cars have a different prefix to Swindon registered car's so you know the 'real owners' but still they don't turn heads like they should 'round here.

I went from warwick to heathrow yesterday on the M40, saw a total of 5 porches. ( I mean Porsche ) and 2 Civics. Having said that, at my local pub last week, there were 3 Civics out of about 30 - 40 cars in the car park.

Sadly not I simply live in a major city in poland, and have seen many more, more expensive cars than I have the civic, granted here it is more Audi's and BMW's than porsche's but we have a fair few cayenne 4 x 4 in the city.

Considering poland is considered to be a poor country we are doing that bad for expensive cars!

I think porsches are extremley common! I'm not saying they're more common than the Civic, but when you imagine, I know of 3 porche owners, ( 1 911, 1 Cayenne and 1 classic), and only 2 civic owners then perhaps they are more common...

But remember we're comparing all the models, from all of time from one manufacturer, against one model that has only been out for a while --> perhaps this is why we're seeing more of them.

I agree there are alot of Cayennes, and alot of Boxters, not so many 911's though

Perhaps the Civic just blends in better - but I don't think that's the case!!
