Not exclusive & first decent drive

So we're away for the weekend in the lake district. En route, we get peckish and stop at a stately home (shruggs hall or something) for a sandwich (£8 each !!!).

Admiring my CTR between all the crappy '07 Range Rovers, Saab convertibles and Audi A8's and what happens - another 07 CTR pulls up! Looks nice in NHB (not as nice as MR in my opinion, but i'm biased). Tried to have a quick chat with the driver but he looked at me a bit gone out!

Anyway, had a great time on my first decent drive since run-in - 480 in 1 weekend, av MPG 32. Great overtaking on some of the wider roads, nice handling on the unclassifieds. Satnav annoyed me a few times, taking me the obviously long way round, but Betty was soon silenced!

well at least you had a nice time but £8 for a sandwich seems quite steep! How the other half live eh?

Good to hear you enjoyed the car.

Out of interest what does 'Looked at me a bit gone out' mean?
