Good quote?

hi guys,took my Milano red civic to a body shop today for a quote for respaying the bonnet.Told me £280 for the bonnet and wings plus a further £140 for the valance if required.This is my first quote but it sounded ok.He does not use water based paint.Could anybody tell me if this sounds reasonable.Thank you.

I would say that does sound quite reasonable... however i'd been keen to know if the colour will fade quickly etc and if it will even match in the first place...

need to be careful with paint work in my opinion as can be disastrous sometimes!

The going rate seems to be £150-200 per panel, so that's not too bad.

mate of mine as a bodyshop in wolverhampton quoted me £180 for bonnet and blend the wings and as quoted me £260 colour coding if i take the trim off.just need the funds.

mine is in getting fixed the door and quarter panel came to 450 to fix the dent and spray

lincspoacher,thanks for the reply.I havn't seen any of their work,there were a couple of cars being prepared for the spray booth which looked very good.As I said before,I am going to see other places before I make my mind up.I was talking to the service manager at Barnsley Honda last week and he is going to get me the details of the firm they use.Thanks for all your opinions,much appreciated.
