I have a 2.2 diesel on 06 plate and it has now done 147,000 miles Can anyone beat that millage?? John |

175,000miles on a 2.2 sport.
Still runs like a beauty and drives like a 50k car, I'm 100% sure its good for the same again. |

Too right they are!
40miles each way to HQ office in Warrington, with regular trips to London, Whitheaven, Teesside and Aberdeen thrown in, spends the majority of its time sat at 73mph cruising. Probably why it still drives like a car less than a 1/3 of its mileage |

Lessons I drew was that high annual mileages were no bad thing. |

I got car at 60,000 miles 4 years ago, so 60,000 miles on has been mainly city driving!
Still feels same as it did when I bought the car. |

Honda engines - properly maintained (especially regarding oil changes / quality / filters, are virtually immortal
And every 200k or so, change the gearbox oil and timing chain |

Millage
2007 2.2 cdti ex 143000 mostly motorway still smooth engine
Always use fully synth 0w30 oil Hopefully should be ok for another 50k Anybody got ideas on when the timing chain should be changed and the cost of it?mine seems ok but you never know |
