Civic 'SPORT' owners Poll

To support my case with regards to the dispute over whether fog lights should have been fitted on my car or not, I would be very grateful to all you Sport owners (petrol or diesel) to indicate if you had Front Fog Lights fitted as standard, or if you had them fitted Free of Charge arterwards.

Otherwise answer 'no' if you do not have fog lights.

The poll relates to the issue that Honda advertised the Sport Model as coming with Front Fog Lights as standard. Hopefully this poll will help myself and maybe others who realised their car didnt have them when they thought they should have.

Please only answer if you have the Sport model. Thanks!

The civic sport with fog lights was offered at some point after the first of April as an incentive for people to trade up from the SE. If your car was one of the promo cars, the fog lights would have either been fitted or have arrived in the boot of the car when it was delivered to your local honda dealership. The car also came with a lip spoiler for the boot lid.

I have a pre april sport right now, no fogs or spoiler, and I work for them!!

When did you order yours???

I ordered mine back in December when they were advertised on the website having them as standard. (see thread Honda Customer Services (in General Form)).

I'm surprisedd that Sport can be without fog lights. Here in Slovakia, Czech or Austria are fog lights standart in Sport models.

It's the same here in Finland. Sports have front fogs but no xenon lights for us. Can't vote so I won't mess up your statistics.

Same in Croatia, both Sport and Executive have fog lights. Only basic 1.4 model doesn't have fog lights.
Also, 'basic' 1.8 and 2.2 is actually 'sport' model.

I haven't got them but I think it looks better without in black!! I genuinely wouldn't retro fit them. I have got the front and rear garnish though so that sets the front off nicely!!!!

I am suprised to read that they came without Fog Lights.. saying that if i remember correctly here in Germany only the Exec and Sports Model came with the lights, with the other models they had to be oredered as an extra.

All I can tell you is that they weren't about until the second 1/4. As much as I spend much time on here at night, the honda website doesn't cut it like It used to.

If you ordered back in December, and only from a sales point of view, they didn't come the fogs and spoiler.

Any thing else and I will have to take the fifth ammendment.
