Improved rear visibility
We all know how the rear visibility is poor because the spoiler (or whatever you call it) sits right in the middle of where you want to see. After six months of ownership I've just found out something which improves things quite a bit and thought I should share it in case, like me you didn't know about it.
The rear view mirror is on a double ball joint type of thing which means that you can push the whole thing up and get a better view out of the top part of the rear window. I've moved mine up as far as it will go and now get a better rear view. |

funnily enough i found that out the other day and my mirror is just short of the headlineing when fully adjusted up and it does make a great difference, but not enough to stop me fitting the permanant view rear view reverse camera !!!

The arm from the window to the mirror has a ball joint on each end and it can be moved up and down side to side and it swivels too, so it can be pushed upwards to the head cloth, but no clicking, at least not with mine., hope that helps clear things up a little bit

I've never noticed this with mine. I'll have a look in a minute.
I'm sure it would have moved previously if it did, my usual trick is knocking the rear view when cleaning the inside of the windscreen, so I'm suspecting it doesn't. |

Just been to fill up the wife's EX.
+2 he is right about the 2nd ball joint. The jury is still out as to whether it makes much difference to be honest. |

So since 2006 this is the first time anyone's noticed this !!!
Not in the manual and I've never noticed it on mine. Some piccy's would help. |
