What do you use your trip comp for?

I'm talking about the part that you can reset your mileage on, a and b.
I use A for seeing how many mikes I do before I fill up. And B for every journey I use the car for.

On A, I normally get an average of between 38 to 42 give or take on the 1.8 engine.

What does everyone else use theirs for? 😇

I use mine for exactly the same things. My average is always around 470-500 miles between fill ups

I use A to show how many miles I've done in total in the car (will try and never reset this).
B auto resets at each fill up to show miles done between pit stops.

You sure that is the correct way round -

Can only set Trip A to Auto Reset when refuelling, Trip B can only be reset manually

Yeah same here but the opposite way as said.

I don't wanna reset B, it's cool to have it ticking over for every mile you ever do in the car.

A however, gets reset far too quickly these days!!

Exactly the same, A for miles on that tank, B for total miles in car, how do you set it for auto reset on fueling?

Press and hold "Info" button on the steering wheel to enter customizing mode, then press and release the "info" button repeatedly to select "CHG SETTINGS" and then press "SEL/RESET". Press "INFO" until you get to the "Trip A reset with refuel" screen, press "SEL/RESET" and it should then give you the option to select "ON" or "OFF". Press "INFO" to select "ON" and the "SEL/RESET". Screen should show "SETUP ON" to confirm it has been activated. To exit customising mode press "INFO" repeatedly until you get to screen which looks like an arrow pointing out of a wing mirror and then press "SEL/RESET".

I use my trip computer to know the mileage between refueling the car. I've got th "A" setting to reset every time I refuel. As an ex-petrol station owner, I'm a bit bonkers about fuel mileage (and the Type R is not very impressive in this subject)!
