Puddle underneath car

Hi,

This is my first post although I have been reading this site for some time now and has proven to be a great source of useful information.

My question is - I recently picked up a new Civic and after reversing at the end of a 40 min drive I noticed a trail of droplets along the ground that appear to originate from the middle of the car. On re-visiting the car in the morning, I noticed a puddle of clear, odourless liquid in front of the right hand tyre as you look at the car. I believe this might be water from the air conditioning system, although I am concerned that the puddle isn't in the middle of the car where the droplets appeared to come from.

I would greatly appreciate any insight into this from your own experiences of the new Civic.

Many thanks,

Adam

Hi Paithuk

I would say that this was water from the evaporator on your air conditioning as you thought it was. Its nothing to worry about

yeh it wil be the air con drain. the undershield is huge on the civic and it will probly drip anywhere depending on the angle you parked up.
unless you smell coolant then dont worry

Look at the coolant level - if that is OK it can only be water from the aircon. (= no problem)
