Hellow you all :]
I've been suffering from some state of insomnia while waiting for my new old civic (1.8 Sport [Business]* '07). *That's how it was sold here - in Finland (included parking sensors). I've been using this sleepless time to getting to know this fine piece of machinery via this forum mostly (frikkin' awesome forum I might add!) I've planned to do following "mods" to my Nighthawk: -civicinfo-sticker -Foglight covers Protectors -Foglights replaced by 11W Q5 leds and autoswitch to turn those on as primary and off when dippers turned on. DRL foglights -About matching color dippers (+ 501s) Philips X-treme Vision -Footwell LEDs ofc by RickHondaR Footwell lights -LEDding the car. Interior, glovebox, trunk & plate. I do not know the correct ones yet, except 30mm festoon to ceiling + T10 to maps. What are the others? -Reverse camera (mine hasn't got sat nav, so this is still under consideration how to apply). Maybe I'll buy 2-DIN player with monitor @ 175€ + some nice wireless cam for it + the damn expensive piece of plastic around it (the facia). Or just cheap wireless + some foldable or so LCD monitor. -Durabilitycoatin (not hard wax, but acrylic coating). -Soundproofing to the "cockpit" done with rust proofing (salty-snowy-icy-cold ass coutry we've got here ;P) -Denso Iridium Power spark plugs \o/ 1. Is there other mild / minor mods that one can do by one self? So called cost effective tuning 2. Would anyone know a place where to get reasonable priced full facia panel -kit for the 2-DIN system? 3. Is there a list of the bulb sizes for the car (interior, plate, trunk etc)? I was thinking about getting the Type S and do some wilder moding (R-seats, spoiler, bodykit, moderate decals, exhaust, intake, hondata tuning etc). But it was too hard to get LHD low price + I decided to eat and have other hobbies too Thanks for those awesome "How to"s and for this nice forum with it's people ^_^ |

I would keep the foglights as is as cops will still seem them as foglights even if you made them into DRLs.
Besides Bog and Atomic sell a nice DRL kit here is a pic of atomics ones ![]() Mr JP sells very good bulbs for inside and outside, inside ones he has LED and outside he has halogen and HID kits and can do good prices with his value packs. New Mr JP Complete Bulb Kit - Big Savings! Car has iridium spark plugs as standard Bulb list can be found in my sig which i made according to my 2010 so their might be some slight changes done from '07 to '10 Would also recommend getting gray trim color coded and getting the sports grill and color coding that. this is the coxmotorgroup stealth grill ![]() This is a leet post as it is my 1337th Last edited by Grayfox; 15th October 2012 at 00:44. |

Thanks Grayfox
If I understood correctly, police has no right to fine me about these foglight -> DLRs cause I do not have foglights turned on from the switch and those will shut off when putting the dippers on I forgot to mention that I really would install some aftermarket (most likely those JPs) HIDs, but I would have to change those back to halogens for every annual chekup. I did this with my previous car, but will not do it again. In Finland it is required to have frontlight washers + automated height adjust for those to be legal and passing the annual checkup. Mine has 110,00km and in 120k I should change the plugs so there's why Powers That bulb list of yours is awesome, thank you very much for doing it ![]() Color coding those (imo) quite nasty looking grey trims(?) would be extremely nice thing to do. I just don't know if I can afford to do it yet. As I wouldn't be painting them myself it would cost job + materials. |
