I did a 0-60 test with my friend in the car once.......

1st run 7.3 secs but my shifting was pretty bad
2nd run 7.1.secs but had a bad start, cudnt put the power down properly
3rd run 6.8 secs.......perfect!

the only mod i had at that time was a HKS RSK so was pretty much standard.

Careful there matey the BS police will arrive soon explaining that the FN2 is really not capable of taking the skin off a rice pudding let alone achieving the book figure 0-60. The 2.2 is the real race car of the 8th gen line up - if that cant beat a VXR then nothing can.

FYI the 0-60 time for the FN2 with/without LSD is actually closer to 18 seconds - I was owned off the lights the other day by a shire horse driving a Skoda Yeti!! Head out the sunroof eating a carrot geeing his head off!!

Come on, eveyone knows that the 2.2 is the real hot hatch of the lineup. The 0-60 of nanoseconds is testament to the effort that went into designing an engine that is pure speed and economy at the same time. Thought that was obvious?
My gran can get a 0-60 better than the FN2.

The Hover board should have been invented by now, going by the BTTF Part II. Marty came to 2012, and hover boards were being used.

Corsa VXR and the FN2 are quite evenly matched in standard form

I've owned both and the little corsa handled amazingly out the box.. My fn2 no where near as good. The civic is a big car!

Power wise Vxr more torquey fn2 more revvy.

Throw £500 at the Vxr and you can be up around 240bhp easily

Throw that at a fn2 and you get a flashpro unmapped lol.

Get the Nurb edition and you get a funky diff exhaust and bilstien suspension with light weight wheels! And with the new engine comes lower tax and for some reason much cheaper insurance!!(A16LER engine)

I think the corsa Vxr is lovely car.
I'm 23 with a kid and If I had one I would feel a bit silly, like I'm too old for it?
Which is weird considering I'm quite young lol

anyone with any vxr who wants to race my type r please let me know my r is bog standard apart from a k&n panel filter and i dont care how much bhp they have, i suggest a race over about 250 miles as the vxr will be out of juice or breakdown during the race, they may have fast acceleration but are unreliable thirsty turbo's and quite frankly *****

I got 32-38mpg and mine was fine reliability wise ? and I've herd the A16LER engine is even more efficient :/ so don't see where your coming from with a long range race...

plus a 1.6 against a 2.0 in an economy race.... lol.. give over!

An rather obese lady on a mobility scooter did beat me pulling out of a junction!

In a crappy hire van taking a sofa to a tip with a mate, went to pull away, stalled, mate peed himself laughing, by the time I started it up again, a car was coming and I had to give way.

The council bloke at the tip asked my mate what was so funny, told him and he too started to 'extract the urine' from me. I just took it because what can you say!
