west scottish higlands

hello all , me and the wife have just returned from three days in the west higlands and WOW what a place, the roads were superb and mainly empty the a82 from loch lomand to fort william was superb and the a83 from fort william to mallig fantastic , but the best one was from spean bridge to kyle of lochalshe and onto the isle of skye WOW WOW WOW WOW a truly stunning road with breath taking views , twisty enough to keep the speed legal but boy o boy what a drive and more or less empty , we covered 1360 miles in four days (including the round trip to cheshire) and have never had so much fun in the type r including this years trip to italy, dont think it would be the same in summer but october gave us empty roads and a chance to enjoy the car on the twisties , will be going back next year what a week

most of the pics are senic ones and i dont know how to post, west higlands in october, best keep it secret , roads so empty i needed to put oil in and that never happens, bet its not the same in summer , if you scots lads get up early in summer i bet the roads are desserted im very jelaous

We done a similar route to applecross in Feb and your right it was awesome. Get some pics up.

Can't beat the roads up through Glencoe. Absolutely magic when it's quiet.

Heard alot about Applecross road too but still never done it. That's on my list!
