Question Guys
If you fit these holders, does the belt remain in them when you put the belt on or do you have to slip it in when you leave the car? Am wondering whether this would help with keeping the belt away from the persons neck.

They are at the dealers Tom, just havn't had time to pick them up yet.
All this talk of a recession, but I am snowed under with work, as everybody is chasing me for their completed plans and approvals, so we can start work on the sites in the Spring.

Bought a BMW pair off Ebay for around 23GBP inc p&p, but it saved a journey of some 50 miles. Very pleased and helps keep belt off my wifes neck!!

I don't suppose they had any more did they. I would like some of these but I don't have a dealer really close.

My dealers face was a picture, turned up in a brand new Civ, just washed/waxed and parked next to a salesman trying to sell a second hand mini, he asked if I was ok and just said I wanted the parts department, and whilst he was talking to me, they were looking at my car.....(Think he lost that sale ) Didn't have the heart to tell them the only reason they have loads of minis second-hand is cos everyones buying civ's and part-exing their mini's (butt-ugly things anyway, the mini's not the people buying the car ).

I bought a set of the BMW ones and hate them.
I am willing to sell them ,but do I have to post it on the "wanted/selling" section?

I take it that these fill only fit a 5 door model...
Otherwise you wont be able to ge in the back seat for the belt being in the way.
Is this so???

I have fitted the BMW grabbers as per Toms photo's above.
The chrome buckles still slide down the belts too far.
If I move up the round grey plastic stops about 225mm, which are on the belts,( this will mean making additional holes through the belts of course),will it be a problem regarding the belts integrity, moans from dealer at check car time, M.O.T. even though a fews years before that.

other than useing a seat belt grabber ~(makes it hard for passengers) in drivers seat use your right hand, its easy. i found that out real quick after just about pulling a neck muscle trying to get hold of the seat belt

no idea how well this would work, but I don't think it would affect the belt integrity...

How about hand sewing on a couple of buttons (1 either side of the belt) where you want the buckle to stop?
