Full of them Jack

some even work!

I guess a kimble tag might do it without hitting any strands - I was thinking of a good old fashioned needle though as you could gently poke it through and sort of move the strands out of the way

You're not one to impulse buy then are you?

Anthony's right. All you need to do is to put your right hand down as though you were adjusting the seat and move your hand slightly backwards to get the BOTTOM of the seatbelt and simply pull! Those clips on seat look a right mess and all twisted!

Mine look fine and don't get twisted, maybe they are more for those of us who don't use the back seats often. I think the idea should have been standard, as even with your method, it still hurts my back (still thats my tetchy back for you ).

I got hold of the seat belt grabbers a little while ago, and I am hugely disappointed with the quality of them.
The ones I have are even more fragile than a Civics interior

Does anybody else have to even touch the seat belt for the bit where the belt goes through to then detach from the headrest hooks and fall on the floor.

I think I might have to return to the BMW garage and kick up a stink about shoddy German engineering

Mine occasionally unclip, but thats the way they are designed. So in the event of an accident, they detach to all the seatbelt to grip you firmly, maybe yours are from a different batch to mine, as the really have to be pulled to unclip.

Cheers Tom, I thought there might be something wrong with them because they were far to fragile. I am hoping they were from a slightly dodgy batch.

Mine do 'ping' occasionally but upon research it appears they are designed that way so as not to affect crash safety and side airbag deployment.

Ask BMW, they can always say yay or nay.

This is one of those Brill ideas that any car manufacturer might be wise to supply; they have been well appreciated by both me and OH. This is the best answer to the problem IMO. yeah we can reach back and almost twist the shoulder in the process but this gives easy access and welldone for suggesting it

It really makes a difference to my back not having to twist to reach the belt, (I know 22 and complaining of a bad back, but hey I had fun getting that bad back ).

If I move up the round grey plastic stops about 225mm, which are on the belts,( this will mean making additional holes through the belts of course),will it be a problem regarding the belts integrity, moans from dealer at check car time, M.O.T. even though a fews years before that.
what about using a FRIDGE/FREEZER BAG CLIPS,SPACE FOR DATE +ITEM BARGAIN!! on eBay, also Bags, Food Storage, Kitchen, Home Garden (end time 14-Apr-08 15:50:54 BST) on the belt

Also why as mentioned else where are they not suitable for the CTR bucket seats ??.
The pictures that Tom (unknownsoldier) has posted look good.

Q: Also why as mentioned else where are they not suitable for the CTR bucket seats ??.

A: Because they attach to the metal bars in/under the headrest, which you don't have.

They have to be fitted on the chrome tubes of the removable head rests.
