towing hitch?

Has anybody fitted their own towbar? If so are there any pitfalls or problems especially with the electrics?? I have fitted them to older civics but need one on my ctdi ES.
Considering having it done proffesionally to avoid any probs. anybody had a quote for this work to use as a benchmark before I start looking?

I had the Honda removable one fitted at purchase (mainly as I collected he car on a Saturday and had to tow my trailer to a trackday on the following Monday) at £450 I didn't think it was overpriced but not cheap either. It cost me £299 to have a removable one fitted to my TDI Passat 3 years ago and that was a local fella, did a bloody good job though.

Had a witter detachable fitted last month by manchester towbars in stockport £368 took 2 hours, very pleased with fit and looks.

I'm also looking at detachable towbars, but want to see what they look like.
I understand that there are some now out there that are totally invisible (with the ball removed of course!) - however I've not seen any actual details of any.

Perhaps some owners who have the various makes (Westfalia, Witter, Bosal etc) could post some photos to help others decide?
