Wish I hadn't bothered with that tenner though, as they handed me a bottom of the range Jazz with an empty fuel tank. Absolute pony it was. Felt a right plank driving that! |

I Remember when I bought a rover a few years back the sales guys told me that their cars were to be used as courtesy cars for people having a service etc so they had to keep them clean.
Over here there is no such thing as courtesy cars etc. If there was people would steal them. I heard the local BMW place had one stolen a couple of years ago when they lent it to a guy who had his car in for servicing. Never saw it again. At present I have a skoda and they don't offer a car when your is being serviced, you simply wait or sort yourself out. I would prefer the courtesy car to be honest but that is poland for you. |

The service prices should be fixed - but if the fixed price is higher for diesels than petrols that would make sense.
I know in my last Civic - 1.6 VTEC Sport - I took it in for it's 2nd service and checked things like the wipers and the windscreen washer water the night before... and low and behold - I had a call telling me my wipers needed replacing! Which i brushed off. Then when i got the bill i saw they had charged me £2.99 for windscreen washer fluid! When i knew it was full to the brim! Shows what costs they just "add" on the bottom to get the prices up... |
