In general I find them ok, but sometimes, if the angle of a road to a junction isn't quite square, I can lose a car behind the pillar. Your right, you have to be a bit careful!

Seems to be a growing trend with new cars. Most of all the ones that are designed to look sporty. A small price to pay unless of course it causes you to have an accident.

You have to "drive the windscreen" a little in the civic, but it's just an adjustment, rather than anything too difficult.

I'm getting there.

I can't get over how great it looks.

Theres no other car in its group, that can hold a candle to it.

I too find myself peering right when going round roundabouts, and guessing a bit when turning left.

Use the force...

Can't say I've noticed it to be honest, but then I changed from an MPV style car which already had a large, shallow sloping windscreen.

I guess that if you had a more "sit up and beg" vehicle before it might be more obvious.

Hi StGeli,

My previous vehicle was the Mk1V Golf GTTD with the DSG 'box.

Hardly sit up and beg, more like hang on and fly !!.

I was referring to the fact that in something like a Golf or a Focus you can reach the bottom of the windscreen without having arms like an Orang-Utan.
