You should have refused to accept the car and demanded it be fixed straight away or walked away but you didnt and now they are taking the p**s out of you god it makes me mad.

Hopefully this new guy will get it sorted out quickly if he doesnt tell him you will be in contact with consumer direct and that you will be passing his name to them as a point of contact - that should get him moving

Enough mucking about. At ths stage, you want the car fixed and a free service for the inconvenience or a similar gesture of goodwill (if they want to keep your business...)

At long last my car is getting sorted, they are coming to collect it tomorrow and dropping off a courtesy car for me. This new manager seems to be getting things done and is ensuring that they are done properly, i'll keep you posted!!
