Changing time

Since I have not long has my 1.8 ES this is the first time I have attempted to change the clock From BST to GMT.

I checked my hand book and followed the diagrams and instructions ..... but nothing happend, the digits would'nt change after I had pressed the clock button on the radio and they started flashing.

After about 5 minutes or so of trying, it suddenly dawned on me that the diagrams were for a left hand drive version! so instead of pressing buttons 1,2 & 3 to advance the hour, minutes etc I should be pressing 4,5 & 6!!! after that 'bingo' the car is on GMT now!!!

Has any one else had this problem or am I just a bit slow?

Sorry czechplastik the last msg was for you Someone will have to remind me how to do it next year when we change back to BST.
I'm glad Dimplyred, that I was not the only one a bit confused. I thought I was begining to lose it!

Hi Elliebob, if you become a supporter by buying a sticker you can edit your posts. Gets you out of embarrassing mistakes, like I make

Perhaps Pottsy can do a special "pay now - deliver in 6 months" deal for you.

Canīt have us thinking you are a tight sod...

Having read the manual very carefully I had exactly the same problems as Elliebob and Dimplyred. Must be something to do with being a Supporter maybe ?
